Tax Return Review Checklist
Few among us enjoy filing a tax return. All of us, however, want to know it was done right, and many would like to know what the numbers mean. One easy win for gaining better clarity on how taxes work as well as several things to look for when reviewing your tax return can be found in the free checklist below.
While perhaps not the most alluring aspect of your financial picture to spend time thinking about (I suspect most would rather be looking at their investment portfolio, following their company stock, or not thinking about finances at all), a treasure trove of information can be gleaned from the inauspicious Form 1040. With that in mind, there are few – if any – documents that shed more light on a person’s financial picture or provide more immediate ideas for improving that person’s finances. I hope this checklist helps you make some sense of yours.
